This meditation is inspired by Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra. Initially our attention is focused on suṣumṇā , the central energy channel in our body, and then between the heart centre and a point above the top of the head which the text refers to as dvādaśānta. We explore pausing the breath in these two areas and an option is given to work with the mantra haṃsa. Through this practice, a peaceful state may arise.
