Restorative Yoga & Gentle Sound

What would it feel like to truly soften – to invite both body and mind to rest deeply in stillness, where moments of silence and gentle sound blend to soothe the nervous system and bring a state of calm and presence?
This session combines restorative yoga and the pure tones of alchemy crystal bowls to guide you into a state of calm presence inspired by Patañjali’s Yoga Sūtras, which define yoga as ‘citta vṛtti nirodhaḥ’ (the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind). When the mind is quieted, the draṣṭā (the seer, or true self) then abides in its own nature (tadā draṣṭuḥ svarūpe avasthānam).
Through restorative yoga, the body is supported to release physical tension, the nervous system is soothed, and the mind encouraged to settle and soften. Building on this foundation, the bowls are gradually introduced throughout the workshop, culminating in a soundscape that invites profound rest. At the end of Softening into Presence, you’ll feel spacious, grounded, calm, energised and fully present.
