MINDFULNESS-BASED STRESS REDUCTION
With its roots in Buddhism, MBSR is a method of training the mind, thereby reducing feelings of stress and anxiety

Mindfulness encourages us to pay attention to what’s happening here and now. It helps us to feel more and react less. It invites us to be curious. We become kinder to ourselves and others and ultimately we feel happier.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a way of training the mind. With its roots in Buddhism, it is so much more than simply a way to relieve stress and anxiety – but it does that too.

Joyce regularly teaches an 8-week live-streamed MBSR course. Read more about the development of the course by Jon Kabat-Zinn here.

  • "Finding time to do the MBSR course with Joyce is the best choice I have made this year. No two sessions are the same but the outcome of all of them is that you find yourself in a better emotional, psychological and physical space."

  • "Attending the MBSR course with Joyce is the greatest gift I could give myself this challenging year. The course not only provides tools to manage stress and anxiety but taught me how to build a regular meditation practice. One of the outcomes is that I find myself more at peace and happier."
